Audax Private Equity has invested in BlueCat Networks, a provider of infrastructure software. Upon closing, Audax will own a controlling stake in BlueCat, with Madison Dearborn Partners realizing its investment.
BlueCat’s DNS platform supports digital-transformation initiatives, such as rapid-application development.

William Blair and Nomura Securities International are serving as financial advisors to BlueCat. Ropes & Gray is serving as legal counsel to Audax, and Kirkland & Ellis is acting as legal counsel to BlueCat and MDP.
