Colony Hardware Inc., an Audax Private Equity-backed distributor of construction materials and job site supplies, has bought B&L Bolt Inc. and Slip-On Lock Nut LLC (together, B&L Bolt), a Michigan-based distributor of strut, fasteners, power tools and other supplies to construction and industrial customers.
Founded in 1986 and with locations in Grand Rapids and Kalamazoo, Mich., B&L Bolt serves contractors and manufacturers, with a focus on cleanroom facilities. The acquisition represents Colony’s 11th acquisition since partnering with Audax in November 2018.
