CMS Nextech, a portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has purchased CMI Mechanical, a provider of repair and maintenance services and installation of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration equipment.
CMI serves commercial clients in the Denver, Colo. area. The deal looks to further CMS’s geographical footprint while expanding its technician density and helping the company to service a wider customer demographic. The acquisition of CMI represents CMS’s fourth acquisition since Audax’ investment.
