CMS Nextech, a commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVAC/R) provider and portfolio company of Audax Private Equity, has acquired Aire-Rite, an HVAC/R business operation that offers repair, maintenance and installation services to customers in southern California.
Air-Rite serves commercial customers and provides its services to multiple multi-site restaurants and convenience store locations across the southern California market. The acquisition looks to expand CMS’s footprint in California while strengthening its number of technicians and allowing the company to service a wider customer demographic. Aire-Rite represents the company’s fifth acquisition since Audax’s investment.
