Ascend LLC, a dry van, full truckload carrier, has acquired Dedicated Transportation Solutions of Greenville, South Carolina.
DTS provides shippers with a fleet outsourcing option and professional transportation management. The firm offers clients driver recruitment and retention services, regulatory compliance, liability management, vehicle procurement and maintenance, and operational management.
The deal is intended to expand Ascend’s dedicated contract carriage business while broadening its footprint and building network density. The acquisition expands Ascend’s assets to over 1,000 tractors and over 3,000 trailers.
