Arcadea Group, a growth equity investor in software companies, has made an investment in Radfords, a fresh produce software company serving the fresh produce value chain, including orchard owners, packhouses and marketers.

Founded in 1989 by Phil Radford through a collaboration with the kiwifruit industry in the Bay of Plenty, New Zealand. The company offers software for produce sectors including kiwifruit, avocados, cherries, citrus, apples and vegetables. Arcadea’s investment aims to facilitate international expansion to meet the demand for its fresh produce software suite worldwide. Radford will transition to a board role while continuing to help with projects. CEO Adam Cuming will maintain his leadership.

“With Arcadea’s expertise in international expansion and operational scaling, we’re excited about driving even more value across the global fresh produce industry,” states Radford.
