Arbor Investments, a private equity firm focused on food, beverage and related industries, has added Jim Freeman as partner, chief financial officer and director of investor communications.

Freeman brings approximately 30 years of finance and accounting leadership experience, most recently as senior vice president of capital markets and strategy at MGM Resorts International. His responsibilities at MGM included oversight of global capital raising, mergers and acquisitions, treasury, investor relations and strategic initiatives. His previous roles include serving as the CFO of Fontainebleau Resorts and as an investment banker at Banc of America Securities.

The firm has also hired Nancy Fox as chief people officer, Suzanne Martineau as director of brand strategy, George Russell as a vice president on Arbor’s investment team in Chicago and Frederico Vivacqua as an associate on its investment team in New York.

“These recent hires demonstrate our ability to continue attracting top-tier talent with areas of specialization to facilitate Arbor’s hands-on investment approach, as well as to provide strategic direction, operational advice and management services to our portfolio companies,” states Carl Allegretti, Arbor president.
