Ara Partners, a private equity firm focused on industrial decarbonization investments, has hired Peter Saldarriaga as a managing director. He will be based in Ara’s Boston office.
Saldarriaga has over 15 years of experience in private equity and consulting. He spent over 12 years at Bain Capital, focused on buyouts and growth investments in the industrial, business services and technology sectors. Saldarriaga was also the co-founder, CEO and CFO of Belong Acquisition Corp., a $150 million special purpose acquisition company focused on technology-enabled businesses. He began his career as a strategy consultant at Bain & Co. in New York and India, serving clients in the industrial, private equity, technology and media sectors.
