Ara Partners, a private equity firm concentrated on industrial decarbonization strategy, has added Alyssa Hooper as a principal to support the firm’s infrastructure strategy.

Hooper joins the firm with over 10 years of experience within investment and advisory infrastructure and sustainable project finance roles. Before her time with Ara Partners, Hooper served as a principal with Global Infrastructure Partners. While serving at GIP, Hooper led and evaluated transactions across transportation, power generation, industrials, midstream, and digital infrastructure sectors.

“Ara is evaluating a range of opportunities and partnerships across the industrial decarbonization economy, and Alyssa will be a significant asset to our continued growth in this evolving sector,” added George Yong, the partner leading Ara’s infrastructure strategy. “I am excited to work with Alyssa and to leverage her unique expertise as we continue to grow our infrastructure presence.”
