Angelo Gordon, an alternative investment firm concentrated on credit and real estate investing, has added Matt Heintz as managing director and head of insurance in the firm’s client partnership group.
In his new role, Heintz will be leading the expansion of Angelo Gordon’s focus on investment management services for the insurance sector. He joins Angelo Gordon from J.P. Morgan Global Insurance Solutions where he served as head of North America. Previously, Heintz was a managing director and partner at Cardinal Investment Advisors, where he was an investment consultant to multiple insurance companies. He began his career at Edward Jones Investments.
