Allspring Global Investments, an independent global asset management firm, has added John Kenney as head of strategic initiatives. Going forward, Kenney will report the the firm’s CEO, Joseph Sullivan.

Kenney will lead the firm’s global product strategy and product development while advancing the firm’s tech-enabled separately managed accounts platform, Remi. Kenney joins the firm following his time as a board member of a mutual fund platform and external advisor to Boston Consulting Group‘s asset and wealth management teams. He additionally held roles as a global head of affiliate strategic initiatives with Legg Mason Global Asset Managment.
