AE Industrial Partners LP, a U.S.-based private equity firm focused on aerospace, defense and government services, space, power and utility services, has added David Joyce as chairman of AE Industrial Partners HorizonX, the firm’s venture capital investment arm.
Joyce will also act as a strategic adviser to AEI across its entire portfolio of investments and strategies. Joyce spent 40 years at GE Aviation, including 12 years as president and CEO. He is also a member of the National Academy of Engineering and is a director of the Boeing Company.
