3 Rivers Capital, a Pittsburgh-based private equity firm, has acquired Magnum Systems Inc., a designer and manufacturer of material handling and packaging systems for dry bulk materials, from Blue Sage Capital.
Magnum Systems’ services are primarily used to handle and package dry bulk solid substrates across the industrials, food, agricultural and chemical end markets. The company is based in Lenexa, Kan., with two additional manufacturing and fabrication facilities in Parsons. Patriot Capital and SharpVue Capital participated in the transaction by providing debt and equity financing.
Blue Sage was represented in the transaction by TM Capital (investment advisory) and Queen Saenz + Schutz PLLC (legal).
