Spencer brings 30 years as an entrepreneur and business owner to Cascade. While experienced in all aspects of operating a business, he has built a career on the foundation of exceptional motivation, leadership, and sales skills.The motivation behind the Cascade Prepaid MasterCard came to Spencer when he saw a void of meaningful reward programs in the prepaid market. He noticed that credit card companies were stumbling over each other to bring ever-increasing rewards to their credit cardholders, but nothing for their prepaid customers.Prior to Cascade, Spencer’s primary focus was building Evolutionate, a mobile app development and marketing company, which he took from a startup to over $5,000,000 in sales in under two years. As part of his role at Evolutionate, Spencer served as CTO of EvoSpend and oversaw all of the technology that powered the LRG Mobile Wallet and the Vibe Mobile Wallet.Spencer’s leadership strategy is tenacious and thorough, and makes a practice of hiring only “A” players who share those same qualities. His support and inspiration to his staff is matched only by their dedication to him and the mission that he creates for the company.Throughout his career, Spencer has negotiated deals with clients, partners, and affiliates that have resulted in hundreds of millions of dollars in business. His primary focus is on the rapid delivery of pragmatic, scalable solutions that will help Cascade succeed in today's fast-changing business environment.Spencer holds a Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Management from California State University Northridge. In his spare time, Spencer is a devoted father of two, volunteers as President of his fraternity’s alumni housing corporation, a former board member of the Northridge East Neighborhood Council, and serves as an auctioneer helping charities raise money.
