Prior to joining M&T Sabeth Siddique led the credit risk practice within Deloitte & Touche LLP�s Governance, Regulatory and Risk Strategies practice. He joined Deloitte from the Federal Reserve Board in Washington, D.C. where he was Assistant Director of Banking Supervision and Regulation, heading the credit risk department. During his nine-year tenure at the Federal Reserve, Sabeth played a key role in the horizontal assessment of risk management practices in the banking system across a broad array of products ranging from retail, commercial, and trading exposures.In 2009, Sabeth was a key member of senior Federal Reserve team that led the 150 interagency examiners for the �stress test� exercise on systemically important banks focusing on loss estimates, Allowances for Loan and Lease Losses (ALLL), and projected capital. �Subsequently, Sabeth participated in the ongoing strategic discussions for supervisory programs such as capital assessment processes, interagency horizontal initiatives, and other areas of regulatory focus.Prior to joining the Federal Reserve, Sabeth was an investment banker for 10 years working for multinational banks where his experience ranged from traditional lending, structured finance, M&A, private equity, and derivatives trading.�Sabeth has an M.B.A. from Carnegie Mellon University and a B.S. in chemical engineering from Rutgers University.
