James M. Meyer joined the information industry in 1974 and evolved from a programmer to a project manager to a marketing executive. Meyer joined Universal Systems Inc. (USI) in late 1997 as vice president of product marketing with the mission of driving the growth of USI's product revenue through targeted marketing programs and an integrated communications plan. Prior to joining USI, Meyer spent seven years as a general manager and marketing executive with FileNet and Interleaf.
