WaveDivision Completes $50M Black Rock Purchase

The target provides fiber-optic connectivity services

WaveDivision Holdings LLC has completed a $50 million deal to buy Black Rock Cable.

Bellingham, Wash.-based Black Rock provides fiber-optic connectivity services in Washington.

Wave provides video, Internet and phone services to almost 400,000 customers in Washington, Oregon and California. The company recently raised more than $1 billion in funding in November to support growth.

The funding included investments from private equity firms Oak Hill Capital Partners and GI Partners, plus new bank and high-yield debt financings led by Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo.
