Verint develops security software

The Verint Systems Inc. Comverse Technology Inc. merger, valued at $950 million, has closed.

Security software firm Verint announced it would acquire Comverse, a billing-software provider, in August.

Now, Comverse is a wholly owned subsidiary of Verint.

Milbank Tweed Hadley & McCloy LLP represented Comverse for the deal.
