TSG Invests in Gluten-Free Food Co.

The company, My Fit Foods, operates a chain of stores that sell pre-portioned meals

Private equity firm TSG Consumer Partners LLC has made a minority investment in My Fit Foods LLC.

My Fit Foods is a chain of retail stores that provide fresh foods that are gluten-free. The Houston-based company sells pre-portioned meals.

The investment should help fund My Fit Foods’ expansion into new markets and help it to expand its brand. Financial terms of the investment were not disclosed.

TSG, headquartered in San Francisco, has more than $2.9 billion in capital under management, and focuses exclusively on the branded consumer sector. Its investments include Planet Fitness, Alexis Bittar and Perricone MD.
