TriMas Buys Martinic Engineering for $19M

TriMas will add the target to Monogram Aerospace Fasteners


Manufacturer TriMas Corp. (Nasdaq: TRS) has acquired Martinic Engineering Inc. for $19 million.
Martinic, headquartered in Stanton, Calif., manufactures engineered, precision-machined parts for the commercial and military aerospace market, including auxiliary power units and other systems. The company generated about $13 million in revenue for the year ended Dec. 31.
The target should help TriMas grow its aerospace and defense segment, Monogram Aerospace Fasteners.  Monogram focuses on bolt technology.
Bloomfield Hills, Mich.-based TriMas makes engineered products for the packaging, energy, aerospace and defense and engineering components industries. The deal closed Jan. 28.
