Lehman Brothers Holdings Inc, a unit of Barclays plc, raised interest to 73.5% from 47%, by acquiring a 26.5% stake in Archstone-Smith Trust, an Englewood, Colo.-based real estate investment trust, from Bank of America Corp and Barclays PLC, for $1.325 billion in cash. Originally, In January 2012, Lehman Brothers was rumored to be planning to launch a challenging offer to acquire a 26.5% stake in Archstone-Smith. Previously, Equity Residential withdrew its plans to acquire a 26.5% stake in Archstone-Smith.

CIBER Inc-Federal Division | CRGT Inc

CRGT Inc, a unit of Veritas Capital Partners LP, definitively agreed to acquire the federal division of CIBER Inc, a Greenwood Village-based provider of information technology services, for $40 million in cash.

Connectyx Technologies | VeriTeQ Acquisition Corp

VeriTeQ Acquisition Corp signed a letter of intent to merge with Connectyx Technologies Holdings Group Inc, a Stuart, Fla.-based developer of health management software. Upon completion, the merged entity was to be named VeriTeQ Corp.

Dasient Inc | Twitter Inc

Twitter Inc acquired Dasient Inc, a Sunnyvale, Calif.-based developer of anti-malware protection software.

Duke Realty Corp - Triangle | Archon Group LP

Archon Group LP, a unit of Goldmans Sachs Group Inc, is planning to acquire the Triangle Buildings Portfolio of Duke Realty Corp, an Indianapolis-based real estate investment firm. Terms were not disclosed but according to sources close to the transaction, the deal had an estimated value of $43.95 million.

ExpertIO Inc | Synopsys Inc

Synopsys Inc acquired ExpertIO Inc, a provider of verification IP services for industry standard protocols. Terms were not disclosed.

FirstAgain LLC | SunTrust Banks Inc

SunTrust Banks Inc definitively agreed to acquire FirstAgain LLC, a San Diego-based provider of financing services. Terms were not disclosed.

GeoMicro Inc | The Descartes Sys Group Inc

The Descartes Systems Group Inc of Canada acquired GeoMicro Inc, an Irvine, Calif.-based developer of advanced geographic information systems and commercial turn- by-turn navigation software.

Gyman-Skilled Nursing Facility | AdCare Property Holdings LLC

AdCare Property Holdings LLC, a unit of AdCare Health Systems Inc, agreed to acquire a skilled nursing facility, located in Lonoke, of Gyman Properties LLC, an owner and operator of nursing facilities, for $6.486 million.

J Kittredge & Sons Inc | Niagara Thermal Products LLC

Niagara Thermal Products LLC acquired J Kittredge & Sons Inc, a Hudson-based manufacturer of heat transfer products and systems.

Legacy Sports Group | TLA Worldwide plc

TLA Worldwide plc of the UK, merged with Legacy Sports Group, a Newport Beach-based owner and operator of sports agency.

Micron Technology Inc | Elpida Memory Inc

Elpida Memory Inc of Japan was rumored to be planning to merge with Micron Technology Inc, a Boise, Idaho-based manufacturer and wholesaler of semiconductors. Concurrently, Elpida was rumored to be planning to merge with Nanya Technology Corp.

The Buller Group LLC acquired Military Transitions, a provider of recruitment services.
