Sun Capital Picks Up Paragon Print & Packaging

The sale represents Equistone's fifth successful exit of 2012

Sun Capital Partners Inc. acquired a stake in Paragon Print & Packaging Ltd. from Equistone Partners Europe Ltd. and co-investor LDC.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed.

Boca Raton, Fla.-based Sun Capital facilitated the transaction through its London affiliate, Sun European Partners LLP. The deal occurred on the heals of the firm's wrapping up a deal for the SpectraLink and Kirk telecom brands of Polycom Inc., which was announced in May, but completed in December.

For Equistone, the sale represents the London firm's fifth successful exit of 2012.Lincolnshire, England-based Paragon is a U.K. manufacturer of retail packaging services, including printed labels and cartons for food retailers.
