The target, Performance Assessment Network, aims to help companies hire employees

Private equity firm Spire Capital has acquired Performance Assessment Network Inc., a company that provides software for customers to evaluate workforce recruits.

Carmel, Ind.-based Performance offers a catalog of talent assessments and testing services that aid companies and the government in hiring employees.

Spire, headquartered in New York, focuses on the business services, information services, media, education and communications sectors. Its portfolio companies include Tarpon Towers, Asset Nation and Velocity. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
