Radio Systems Acquires Lucky Litter

Both companies make products for pets

Radio Systems Corp., the maker of the invisible fence, has acquired Chicago-based Lucky Litter LLC, a litter box and cat toy maker.

Lucky Litter, which does business as Brilliant Pet, makes ScoopFree litter boxes and cartridges and FroliCat pet toys.

Knoxville, Tenn.-based Radio Systems also owns the PetSafe, SportDOG, Drinkwell and Premier brands. The brands provide pet behavior, containment and safety products. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.
