Private Equity: Thompson Buys FocusVision

Abacus Finance arranged $23 million in credit facilities for the deal

Private equity firm Thompson Street Capital Partners has acquired FocusVision Worldwide Inc.

Stamford, Conn.-based FocusVision provides online video transmission, analysis and archive services for the market-research industry.

Abacus Finance Group LLC was the sole lead arranger for $23 million in senior secured credit facilities to support the deal.

In January, Thompson sold off Express Oil Change & Service Center to Carousel Capital. The St. Louis, Mo-based firm invests in service, distribution and manufacturing, managing more than $800 million in capital.
