Onex Invests in Cookware Company Bradshaw

The deal marks an exit for Arbor Investments, which acquired the Mr. Clean and Good Cook marketer in 2008

Toronto-based Onex Corp. (TSX: OCX) acquired Bradshaw International Inc., a maker of cookware and marketer of household brands, including Good Cook and Mr. Clean.

Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.

Onex facilitated the purchase through its private equity arm, OnCap, which focuses on middle-market businesses located in North America.

The seller, Arbor Investments, invested in Bradshaw in October 2008 through its second fund, as part of a recapitalization deal. Bradshaw, headquartered in Rancho Cucamonga, Calif., is one of the largest U.S. designers of houseware, kitchen gadgets and cleaning supplies.

Arbor is based in Chicago.
