Vyre provides brand-asset management software

North Plains has acquired Vyre, a U.K.-based company that provides brand-asset management software and marketing-resource management.

Vyre is a software and service company that aims to grow brands.

Toronto-based North Plains aims to help companies leverage their visual media assets through digital and media asset management. The company is owned by Menlo Park, Calif. private equity firm Accel-KKR. Terms of the deal weren’t disclosed.

Accel-KKR’s other portfolio companies include CRS Retail Systems, Opera Solutions and Savista. The firm invested in Accellos Inc. in October.
