Motion and Flow Grabs Hydraulic Energy

Hydraulic Energy repairs hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and cylinders

Motion and Flow Control Products Inc. bought Hydraulic Energy Products Inc.’s assets to increase its presence in the Colorado market.

Hydraulic Energy, headquartered in Denver, repairs hydraulic pumps, motors, valves and cylinders for municipalities, railroads and industrial applications.

Motion and Flow distributes fluid connectors and fluid power equipment. The combined company will be able to provide customers with a wider range of repair services. The company is backed by private equity firm Colville Capital LLC.

Colville is based in Charlotte, N.C., and invests in companies with revenues between $10 million and $100 million. Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
