Moss Adams and Mohler Nixon Merge Accounting Firms

The move aims to boost Moss Adams’ California presence

Seattle accounting and business services firm Moss Adams LLP will merge with Campbell, Calif.- accounting firm Mohler Nixon & Williams in a move to boost its presence in California.

The deal also aims to provide Mohler Nixon with additional international, state and local tax resources. The merger will be effective Jan. 1.

Mohler Nixon was founded in 1986 and has 25 partners and 160 personnel. The company provides corporate and individual tax, accounting, audit, internal control and consulting services to companies and individuals.

In spring 2012 Moss Adams’ Santa Clara office will move to Mohler Nixon’s Campbell office, and Mohler Nixon’s San Francisco office will combine with the San Francisco Moss Adams office.
