Kentucky First and CKF Bancorp Merge Dec. 31

Kentucky First announced it would buy CKF for $10.8 million in Nov. 2011

Kentucky First Federal Bancorp (Nasdaq: KFFB) and CKF Bancorp Inc. expect that the merger of CKF into Kentucky first will close on Dec. 31.

Kentucky First is the holding company for First Federal Savings and Loan Association of Hazard and First Federal Savings Bank of Frankfort.

CKF is the holding coming for Kentucky Federal Savings Bank.

The deal, under which Kentucky First will buy CKF for $10.8 million, was announced in Nov. 2011.
