Tech, Media & Telecom: IBM Closes StoredIQ Deal

StoredIQ develops software that helps litigators analyze data

IBM Corp. (NYSE: IBM) has completed its purchase of StoredIQ.

IBM had agreed to purchase StoredIQ , an Austin, Texas-based company that develops software aimed to help litigators go through data, in December. Terms weren’t disclosed. The software helps companies avoiding holding on to too much data.

In February Armonk, N.Y.-based IBM announced it would buy Star Analytics Inc., a business analysis company for an undisclosed amount. The company expects the deal to advance its business analytics initiatives.
