Halifax Group Buys Interim HealthCare from Sentinel Capital

The deal marks Sentinel's fourth exit of 2012

Private equity firm the Halifax Group has purchased Interim HealthCare Inc., which provides home healthcare services, from Sentinel Capital Partners for an undisclosed amount.

Sunrise, Fla.-based Interim provides home hospice care, assisted-living care and supplemental healthcare staffing.

Halifax focuses on lower middle market investments. The firm has offices in Washington, D.C., Dallas and Raleigh, N.C. Its portfolio companies include Animal Supply Co. LLC, Nutrition Physiology Co. LLC and PJ United.

The deal marks Sentinel’s fourth exit of 2012. It previously sold Massage Envy, nscape Publishing and LTI-Boyd. The company has invested in Colson, Northeast Dental Management and Huddle House so far this year.
