Manufacturing: Green Automotive Drives Away With Going Green
Going Green sells electric cars and bicycles
Green Automotive Co. will buy Going Green Ltd., a U.K.-based electric vehicle distributor, for an undisclosed amount.
Going Green does business under the name GoinGreen, and has sold more than 1,400 G-Wiz brand electric vehicles. The company also sells electric bicycles.
Green Automotive, headquartered in Newport Beach, Calif., designs, engineers, manufactures and sells cars with low-emission technology. The buyer closed on its purchase of Liberty Electric Cars Ltd., a company that designs and makes cars with low emissions, in July.
The company also bought Newport Coachworks, a company that manufactures busses and limousines for $13 million in October.
