The target makes and repairs centrifuges for mineral processing

FLSmidth & Co A/S has purchased Decanter Machine Inc. for an undisclosed amount.

Decanter, headquartered in Johnson City, Tenn., makes and repairs centrifuges used for mineral processing. Copenhagen, Denmark-based FLSmidth supplies equipment and systems, including single-machine units to cement flow sheets.

Western Reserve Partners LLC was Decanter’s investment banker on the deal.
