Ferrer Freeman Acquires Arcadia Solutions

The target provides software that optimizes electronic health records

Private equity firm Ferrer Freeman & Co. LLC has acquired Arcadia Solutions LLC, which provides data-driven health information technology services.

The target, headquartered in Burlington, Mass., provides software that aims to optimize electronic health records to healthcare providers.

Greenwich, Conn.-based Ferrer has invested more than $900 million in 36 portfolio companies since it was founded in 1995. The firm’s portfolio companies include Ardent Health Services, Genova Diagnostics Inc. and VistaCare Inc. (Nasdaq: VSTA). Terms of the deal were not disclosed.
