Carlisle Companies Buys Thermax-Raydex for $265M

The target supplies wire and cables that transmit data

Carlisle Companies Inc. (NYSE: CSL) will purchase Belden Inc.'s (NYSE: BDC) Thermax-Raydex business for $265 million.

Thermax-Raydex supplies hook-up and coaxial wire and cable to transmit data for the commercial aerospace, defense and industrial customers.

Charlotte, N.C.-based Carlisle designs, manufactures and markets products for the commercial roofing, energy, agriculture, aerospace, electronics and other markets.

The deal is subject to regulatory approval and is expected to close by Dec. 31.
