Cardtronics Canada Buys Can-Do-Cash

The deal expands Cardtronics’ ATM portfolio by 800 machines

Cardtronics Canada Ltd. has acquired Can-Do-Cash Ltd., an automated teller-machine services company.

The deal should increase Cardtronics Canada’s Canadian ATM portfolio by 800 cash machines, primarily in Ontario and Quebec. The company now has about 1,840 ATMs.

Cardtronics Canada, a subsidiary of Cardtronics Inc. (Nasdaq: CATM), acquired 600 ATMs from Mr. Cash in late 2011. Cardtronics Inc. operates more than 62,800 ATMs in the U.S. and internationally. Terms were not disclosed.
