Betsson Buys Gaming Websites for $45M

The Swedish company will also sell one of its own websites for $157,732

Betsson AB (STO: BETSB) will acquire the online casino websites Sverigeautomaten.com, Norgesautomaten.com and Danmarksautomaten.com for about $45.1 million.

Stockholm-based Betsson is buying the websites from Cherry, which will buy Cherrycasino.com from a Betsson subsidiary for about $157,732. The gaming websites offer poker, bingo scratch cards and other games.

The total purchase price for Betsson’s acquisition will be paid in cash and stock.
