Belden Grabs PPC for $515.7M

The target provides broadband-connectivity services

Belden Inc. (NYSE: BDC) has acquired PPC, a company that provides broadband-connectivity services, for $515.7 million.

PPC provides its services for cable television, telecommunications and Internet.

The target, headquartered in Syracuse, N.Y., had revenues of about $238 million for 2012.

St. Louis, Mo., -based Belden designs, manufactures and sells connectivity products for industrial, enterprise and broadcast markets.

Baker & McKenzie represented PPC on the deal.
