Aurora Buys Optical Transmission Equipment Business for $46M
Aurora bought the business from Harmonic Inc.
Aurora Networks Inc. has purchased Harmonic Inc.’s optical transmission equipment business for $46 million.
Santa Clara, Calif.-based Aurora provides optical access services for cable operators. The company expects the acquisition to increase its market share in the optical transport market.
Harmonic, headquartered in San Jose, Calif., provides video infrastructure services.
