Arsenal Capital Buys Research Dataware

The software developer was purchased through Arsenal-owned WIRB-Copernicus

Private equity firm Arsenal Capital Partners has acquired Research Dataware LLC, a software developer, for an undisclosed amount.

The firm made the acquisition through portfolio company the WIRB-Copernicus Group.

Cambridge, Mass.-based Research helps research organizations comply with regulations and manage documentation required by federal and state governments.

WIRB-Copernicus is a company that Arsenal formed after it acquired Western IRB in February 2012 and the Copernicus Group in June 2012. The company provides regulatory support services.

Arsenal is a New York firm that invests in middle market healthcare and specialty industrial companies. The firm manages $1.4 billion in equity capital.
