Golub Appoints Senior MDs
Gregory Cashman and Andrew Steuerman will run the sponsor finance business and make new investments for the firm.

Golub Capital, a New York-based debt financing provider, announced Gregory Cashman and Andrew Steuerman as senior managing directors at the firm.
Both will be involved in running the firms sponsor finance business and investing $1.1 billion in mid-market sponsor finance. Cashman will make new investments and monitor portfolio companies. Prior to joining the firm in 1996, he worked with the chief financial officer of Bristol-Myers Squibb Co. Steuerman will make new investments and manage the firms portfolios. Previously, he was a managing director at Albion Alliance.
Lawrence Golub, president of Golub Capital, said, "I congratulate Greg and Andy on their outstanding work. Both have played a key role in the management and expansion of Golub Capital," said. "Their contributions and significant experience will continue to provide us with strong leadership and help us to continue to meet our clients' needs."
Earlier this year, Golub Capital closed its fourth debt fund. The firm has additional offices in Atlanta, Chicago and San Francisco.
The firm is a subsidiary of Golub Capital Advisor. The firms CEO, Lawrence Golub, served on the New York State Financial Control Board since December 2007.
