Macquarie Infrastructure Gets New CEO
Move comes after Peter Stokes, former CEO, heads back to Australia.

James Hooke will become Macquarie Infrastructures next chief executive, the company announced, as Peter Stokes, former CEO, has elected to move back to Australia.
Stokes spent the last five years as CEO, and the last 12 years in Macquaries New York offices.
Hooke comes from Macquarie Capital Funds, where he was managing director. He joined the company in 2007.
John Roberts, the companys chairman, said that in his new role, Hooke will immediately concern himself with reducing debt levels, effectively managing expenses and operational improvement.
Most recently, Hooke managed for Macquarie Infrastructure Partners two unlisted infrastructure funds commanding $5.5 billion across North America; his experience includes investment, restructuring, business improvement and asset management experience.
Hooke has previously worked with ICON Parking and Global Tower Partners, a telephone tower operator.
